The Network of Women in Business was founded in 1979 with the goal of providing support to women as they built their professional careers. At the time, as women advanced in an organization, they found that they had lacked female peers and mentors to advise them. Over the years, the members of the Network have built close, supportive relationships with each other and many have moved into prominent roles in the Indianapolis business community.
