Launches New Above the Ceiling Speaker Series
(INDIANAPOLIS, IN February 26, 2009) – The Network of Women in Business, Indianapolis’ oldest, locally based women’s organization, is pleased to announce the launch of a new four-part series entitled, Above the Ceiling. Aptly named, this speaker series will provide attendees with the unique viewpoint of Executive Women who have "broken through the ceiling" and are at the top of their field. Intended as a thought-leadership event, it will deliver the knowledge, tools, and connections that women need to be successful in their own businesses, the corporate world and the not-for-profit environment; allowing businesswomen to connect for advice, motivation, inspiration, education, strategy and ideas.
The series will be held once per quarter and kicks off on March 26th at the Montage at Allison Pointe, and will feature speaker Susan Brooks, Senior Vice President, Workforce and Economic Development/General Counsel for Ivy Tech Community College.
Tickets to the entire four part series can be purchased for $100 for members and $160 for non members and will be available until March 22nd. Individual event tickets may be purchased for $30 for members and $45 for non members. More details are available on http://www.nowib.com. This new series will serve as the cornerstone of the Network of Women in Business’ 2010 program schedule. The March program schedule follows:
