This year's Power Lunch capstone event will be a brand new four-part speaker series, "Above the Ceiling". Held just four times a year at The Montage at Allison Pointe, each event will feature a local Executive Businesswoman who will share with attendees her personal experience and career journey. The presentation delivered by each of these women will be centered around how they got to the top, what it's like to be there, and what it takes to stay at the top in their given field or industry.
Tickets to the entire four part series can be purchased for $100 for members and $160 for non members and will be available until March 22nd. Individual event tickets may be purchased for $30 for members and $45 for non members. Tables of eight cost $300.

Susan Brooks’ legal career has taken her on an unconventional path. She began her career as a criminal defense attorney, held the position of Deputy Mayor for the City of Indianapolis and later was appointed as the United States Attorney for the Southern District of Indiana. She is currently the Senior Vice President of Workforce and Economic Development and General Counsel of Ivy Tech Community College, Indiana’s largest and fastest growing, higher education institution.
We invite you to join us as Susan shares both her personal experience on her rise to the top and her unique viewpoint on women in leadership roles during this luncheon. During this event, attendees will learn:

•How to recognize opportunities and mitigate risks when embarking on a career change

As part of our new speaker series, we will be honoring one current NOWIB member at each Above the Ceiling event. The Outstanding Member will be recognized for her active involvement in the group, her enthusiasm for advancing the mission of NOWIB, and/or her committment to NOWIB committees.
NOWIB Board members are excluded from this award. Award winners will be notified prior to the event.
New Members for that quarter will also be recognized at Above the Ceiling events.
