I've been involved in several different networking groups in Indianapolis in my young business career. I have been most actively involved in NOWIB as both a member and a leader entirely due to the relationships with other like-minded professional women that I have developed over the last 3 years. These women are not only wonderful professional contacts for me but also my friends.

Buzz from the Board
2012 is here, and I am very excited to see what it will bring for NOWIB. The Network is Indianapolis' oldest professional women's networking group, and we've seen our fair share of changes throughout the 30+ years of the organization's life. With changing times and annual changes in leadership, the group has been flexible and responsive to the needs of its membership and the women of Indianapolis. In my 4 years as a member and board member, it's been a pleasure to be involved in decision-making that has steered the group in the direction that we're moving.
This new year brings yet another new opportunity to really take a close look at our mission, develop powerful programming that speaks to that mission, and revitalize a membership of women who thrive off of the personal and professional relationships that are built through the Network. We're professional women who are searching for more from our careers and are seeking deeper connections with like-minded women.
The new Board of Directors is excited to finalize the event lineup for the remainder of 2012, which will be announced. soon. As always, we are thrilled to continue our Northside Lunch and Lunch & Learn SIGs, and we're also going to be launching a new event this year.
