(INDIANAPOLIS, IN January 23, 2009) – The Network of Women in Business, Indianapolis’ oldest and largest locally based women’s organization, has issued a call for speakers to fill a variety of needs for 2009 programming.

The Network of Women in Business (NOWIB) hosts a range of events each month, including Special Interest Groups, which individually focus on topics in Sales, Entrepreneurship, and Leadership, as well as a monthly forum, which focuses on general topics of interest to those in a range of industries and roles.  Unlike most membership group events that appeal solely to an individual organization's own membership, NOWIB’s programming is designed to appeal to the entire Indianapolis community. Guests are welcome to attend all events.

Potential speakers are invited to propose a topic that they would like to present to the NOWIB membership and the general Indianapolis business community. Suggested topics consist of, but are not limited to, careers and hiring, money management and the economy, technology and innovation, work-life balance, leadership and overcoming obstacles, spirituality, and health and well-being. Network of Women in Business events are held throughout the city of Indianapolis and feature free keynote addresses, presentations and panels.

Presenters and topics will be selected based on content quality, originality, creativity, audience involvement and anticipated interest. Visual materials and other audio-visual aids are welcome.
