The Network of Women in Business is pleased to have the opportunity to honor three outstanding women at our annual Gala on September 18th, 2008 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Ritz Charles in Carmel. If you have worked with a woman who you feel has done an exceptional job this year, and fits the criteria for one of the awards listed below, please take the time to nominate her so we can recognize her achievements.

Recognizes an exceptional woman who has achieved prominence in the business community.

Award Criteria:

• Open to all women residing in Indiana
• Sole proprietor, founder or co-founder of a company, currently involved in running the business
• Demonstrates leadership within the organization
• Shows accomplishment and evidence of “needle-moving,” obstacles overcome, innovations or discoveries made, etc.
• Is an active member of her community
• The business must be in operation for a minimum of three years

Recognizes an outstanding woman who has served as a guiding light for another professional woman.

Award Criteria:

• Woman, residing in Indiana
• Demonstrates positive influence over the careers of others
• Offers experience, guidance and coaching to serve as a role model for other women

Recognizes a visionary woman who is charting new territory, and has positively influenced and inspired other business women, and demonstrates ability to continue to do so into the future.

Award Criteria:

• Woman, residing in Indiana, who has been in her current field for five or fewer years and demonstrates leadership potential for future achievements in her chosen field.
